Data about co-production and cooperative working

We are updating our State of the Borough report, which is a digest of socio-demographic facts about Lambeth. We are considering including a section on co-production & co-operative working – is anyone aware of any data we could include? E.g. number of people involved in timebanking, no of local organisations working cooperatively, etc

  1. perhaps a useful starting point might be to review the “CESPIs” – a set of nationally agreed Co-operative and Economic Performance Indicators developed and adopted by the wider co-operative movement a few years back – full details and the indiactors at http://offline.cooperatives-uk.coop/Home/miniwebs/miniwebsA-z/cespis

There was also some further development work done recently looking at how co-operatively owned football clubs might best reflect on the impact and extent of how ‘co-operative’ they are at http://www.supporters-direct.org/pages/?p=6442

  2. oh yes – and there was also this national research published by co-operativesUK, “Co-operative Streets”, that identified a set of community-level indicators to measure how ‘co-operative’ local communities are http://www.uk.coop/resources/documents/co-operative-streets-neighbours-uk
